Terms of service
Last updated: 25 October 2026
These terms govern your use of SASU Invoice (the "Service"), available at sasuinvoice.netlify.app and operated by SASU Invoice ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms. If you use the Service for a business, you accept them on behalf of that business.
1. The Service
SASU Invoice is software for creating, sending and tracking invoices. The invoice editor can be used for free without an account; documents made there are stored only in your browser. With an account you can use a cloud workspace with clients, invoice tracking, payment recording, share links, email reminders, recurring invoices, reports and team members, depending on your plan.
2. Accounts
- You must give accurate information and keep your sign-in details secure.
- You are responsible for activity in your workspace, including by team members you invite.
- You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract.
3. Plans, trials and payment
- The free editor stays free. Paid plans (currently Pro and Business) are billed monthly in advance at the prices shown on our pricing page.
- New workspaces get a 14-day Pro trial. No card is needed and you are not charged when it ends; the workspace simply moves to the free plan unless you subscribe.
- Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payments, invoices for your subscription, and applicable sales tax or VAT are handled by Paddle under Paddle's buyer terms.
- Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from Settings → Billing; you keep paid features until the end of the period you have paid for.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email. Changes apply from your next renewal.
4. Refunds
Refunds are covered by our refund policy.
5. Your content
You own the invoices, client details and other data you put into the Service ("your content"). You give us permission to store, process and send it only as needed to provide the Service to you. You are responsible for having the right to use the personal data of your clients, and for the accuracy of your invoices, including tax and legal mentions required in your country. SASU Invoice is a tool and does not give tax, legal or accounting advice.
6. Acceptable use
You must not use the Service to send spam or misleading messages, to issue fraudulent invoices, to break any law, to infringe anyone's rights, or to probe, overload or interfere with the Service. We may suspend accounts that do, and will tell you why unless the law prevents it.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service available and your data safe, but we cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may improve or change features; if we remove a paid feature you rely on, you can cancel and receive a pro-rata refund for the unused period.
8. Ending your account
You can stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your account from Settings → Account. You can download your invoices as PDF and your reports as CSV before you do. We may end these terms if you seriously breach them. After an account is closed we delete its data as described in our privacy policy.
9. Liability
To the extent the law allows, the Service is provided "as is", and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or unpaid invoices. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
10. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, and the courts of Sri Lanka have jurisdiction, without removing any mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For material changes we will email account owners at least 30 days before they apply. The date at the top shows the latest version.
